Panama City invites you to join the July 4th – Salute to Freedom Parade & Festival
The Parade will be just under a mile long. The route begins at 8th Street and Harrison Avenue, travels south on Harrison to Oak Avenue. At Oak Avenue the parade will turn left and travel down Oak to 3rd Court. At 3rd Court, the parade will take another left around the perimeter of McKenzie Park. The parade officially ends as it passes McKenzie Park. The parade will begin promptly at 3PM.
The Festival will begin promptly at 3:50PM. It will take place on the Panama City Marina in the green space behind the old City Hall and Annex buildings. The festival will feature live music by Nate Pennington and the Dave Matthews Tribute Band. Family friendly activities include a 3-point basketball shoot out, a water balloon toss, a dunk tank, a children’s “floss” dance contest, a hot dog eating contest, and the best fireworks on the Bay!

4:00PM – 5:15PM – Nate Pennington
5:30PM – 6:45PM – Kyle Mitchell & Alec Krotrous
6:45PM – 7:15PM – Hot Dog Eating Contest Sponsored by Tom’s Hot Dogs
7:15Pm – 9:00PM – The Dave Matthews Tribute Band
9:00PM – Fireworks over St. Andrews Bay
Other family friendly activities will go on throughout the evening – 3 point basketball shoot, dunk tank, water balloon toss, and children’s “floss” dance competition – with prizes in many categories courtesy of Dave & Buster’s!
Parking: Parking is available on a first come first served basis. We encourage people to car pool or use ride sharing. Some parking will be available behind the Marina Civic Center and on all the public streets and parking areas north of Beach Drive. No parking will be available on Government Street. Public Parking Lots are identified on the map.
