Winner recieves $500 and a 2019 Solo Exhibit

Merit Awards
$100 each to five winners

Honorable Mentions
Honorable Mentions will be awarded a ribbon

All entries will be judged and considered as one category, to include Best of Show, Merit Awards, and Honorable Mentions. 55th Bay Annual Award will be announced during the Opening Reception at 7:30 PM, Saturday, April 7, 2018.

The Visual & Performing Arts Division of Gulf Coast State College is proud to present the annual Student Art Show. The exhibition is a showcase of talent and creativity within the GCSC Visual Art Department. It features work made by students in one of the many studio art classes offered at the college over the course of the 2017-2018 school year. Media included are painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital media, and ceramics. The exhibit will run from April 22 – May 3, with an opening reception on April 22, 12:30p.m. – 2:30p.m. The work will be on display in the Amelia Center Gallery (Room 112). Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Friday 10:00a.m. – 4p.m. Admission is free. For more information, please contact Pavel Amromin at pamromin@gulfcoast.edu.

Mr. Studer is a businessman, a visionary, an entrepreneur, and a mentor to many. He has given his life to designing the building blocks for people and organizations that guide them to achieving and sustaining high performance.

Most recently, Studer has authored a book documenting his steps to building vibrancy in downtown Pensacola, Building a Vibrant Community, that was released this month. The book is for sale at Amazon.com and at VibrantCommunityBlueprint.com.

Studer came to Pensacola in 1996 as president of Baptist Hospital. In 2000, Quint and his wife Rishy started the Studer Group. In 2016 he left Studer Group to be a full time community volunteer and head of the Studer Community Institute, a nonprofit, research-based entity started in 2014 with the goal of improving the quality of life in the community. SCI’s efforts focus on improving education and economic development through three tracks: Research and advocacy in early childhood education, leadership training and employee development for small and medium-sized businesses and increasing civic knowledge and engagement.

Mr. Studer will share his growth and community development experiences and considerations with the Panama CIty audience, for creating, growing, and enhancing its downtown assets.

The event will be held at The Bay County Government Center, Commission Chambers, 850 West 11th street, in Panama City at 6 pm. It is Free and open to the Public!

The Visual & Performing Arts Division of Gulf Coast State College is proud to present the annual Student Art Show. The exhibition is a showcase of talent and creativity within the GCSC Visual Art Department. It features work made by students in one of the many studio art classes offered at the college over the course of the 2017-2018 school year. Media included are painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital media, and ceramics. The exhibit will run from April 22 – May 3, with an opening reception on April 22, 12:30p.m. – 2:30p.m. The work will be on display in the Amelia Center Gallery (Room 112). Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Friday 10:00a.m. – 4p.m. Admission is free. For more information, please contact Pavel Amromin at pamromin@gulfcoast.edu.

Join us for the opening night party April 6, 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Enjoy photographs from Mr. Sussman's 40 year career as a commercial photographer. This collection includes favorite industrial, aerial, nature, macro, and portrait images. The exhibit will be on display until May 26. Free and open to the public.

Mr. Studer is a businessman, a visionary, an entrepreneur, and a mentor to many. He has given his life to designing the building blocks for people and organizations that guide them to achieving and sustaining high performance.

Most recently, Studer has authored a book documenting his steps to building vibrancy in downtown Pensacola, Building a Vibrant Community, that was released this month. The book is for sale at Amazon.com and at VibrantCommunityBlueprint.com.

Studer came to Pensacola in 1996 as president of Baptist Hospital. In 2000, Quint and his wife Rishy started the Studer Group. In 2016 he left Studer Group to be a full time community volunteer and head of the Studer Community Institute, a nonprofit, research-based entity started in 2014 with the goal of improving the quality of life in the community. SCI’s efforts focus on improving education and economic development through three tracks: Research and advocacy in early childhood education, leadership training and employee development for small and medium-sized businesses and increasing civic knowledge and engagement.

Mr. Studer will share his growth and community development experiences and considerations with the Panama CIty audience, for creating, growing, and enhancing its downtown assets.

The event will be held at The Bay County Government Center, Commission Chambers, 850 West 11th street, in Panama City at 6 pm. It is Free and open to the Public!
