Healthy Travel Information

As the health and safety of visitors to Panama City is paramount, Destination Panama City is committed to providing travelers with accurate and timely information about traveling safely. We are working closely local, regional, state, and national partners to gather and share the latest developments regarding the evolving Coronavirus situation. We wanted to assure you that there have been no confirmed cases in Panama City, Florida.  

  • Effective March 27, 2020, the Governor has suspended new vacation rentals in Florida for two weeks and has imposed interstate check points to deter non-resident travelers into Florida.
  • The governor has implemented a carry out or delivery only for Florida restaurants.  A list of participating restaurants can be found here.
  • Effective March 17 at 5:00pm, all nightclubs and bars will close for 30 days.
  • The CDC is recommending no gathering larger than 10 people.
