To apply for Destination Panama City Event Assistance, you can click the buttons below to either download or fill out the application online. We highly recommend downloading the application so that you can gather all the necessary information before starting your online submission. **Beginning FY26, only those applicants that have completed the DPC Academy course for Event Assistance will be eligible for funding consideration.**

Event assistance funds are primarily intended to support the promotion and marketing of events that attract visitors from outside the local area. Events that are considered hyper-local in nature are typically not eligible for funding.

The mission of Destination Panama City is to generate economic benefits for Panama City through the attraction of leisure, group, meetings and events, and medical visitors, and to provide a positive experience for all guests. One way Destination Panama City helps generate economic benefits for Panama City is through collaboration and partnership. Our Event Assistance program provides support for events that will generate overnight stays in Panama City lodging properties, introduce new visitors to Panama City, and create a positive image of the destination. ROI and economic impact reporting are required.  A sample Memorandum of Understanding that each grant recipient signs acknowledging award responsibilities is available for review here – MOU
