Panama City Center for the Arts Opens New Immersive Walkthrough Exhibit

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG) – Just in time for Halloween, the Panama City Center for the Arts is offering a new haunted immersive walkthrough art exhibit. The Haunted Higby opened on Tuesday. The Haunted Higby follows the story of a young couple lost in the Ravenwood Forest and parted forever by the evil Raven queen. The exhibit is family friendly, free, and will open all month long.

20th Jazz by the Bay Music Festival

Panama City Flag Raising for 9/11

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Saturday, September 11, 2021, marks the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The Panama City Hall, held a flag-raising Saturday at 8:45 a.m. Many officials and locals came to the ceremony to pay their respect and to honor the lives lost. Congressman Neil Dunn, Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford, Panama City Fire Chief David Collier, were among some of the officials who reflected on the events that occurred 20 years ago.

Panama City to Celebrate Independence Day with Full Night of Events

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Fireworks will be lighting up the sky over in Panama City this weekend. Grab a snorkel! New artificial reefs coming to St. Andrew Bay in Panama City

PANAMA CITY — The bay behind Destination Panama City soon will become the permanent home of artificial snorkeling reefs. Jennifer Vigil, president and CEO of the city’s tourism agency Destination Panama City, who is spearheading the effort, said the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and Corps of Engineers permitting processes are underway.
