Le Cirque de Noir Wraps up Debut Showing this Sunday

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Le Cirque de Noir: Pandora’s Box of Curiosities is an aerial performance inspired by the old-time circus. After more than a year of planning, the show made its debut in Panama City. “Old-time circus and really just wanting to tell that story and really wanting to experience that story for me,” show creator Misty Hunt said. The show featured fire eaters, siamese twins, fortune tellers, and clowns, all performing elaborate aerial routines.

Tyndall Art Teacher’s Work on Display through April

Farmers Market Returns to Bay County Fairgrounds

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — After two and a half years, the Bay County Fairgrounds has reopened their Farmers Market in a brand new 21 thousand square foot facility. Hurricane Michael devastated the fairgrounds in 2018, but on Monday, the farmers market opened once again, and fair managers said it’s just the start of all that’s to come at the fairgrounds.

New Sign Installed at Panama City Center for the Arts

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — At the Center for the Arts in Panama City, a brand new sign has finally been put up on the front of the building, after a two and a half year wait. The new sign, put up on Monday by Crow Signs, adds to the butterfly mural on the wall, painted last year by artist, Cameron Moberg.

‘Keep Dancing’: Atlanta-based Artist gives Panama City a Glow Up with Downtown Mural

PANAMA CITY — The Bay Arts Alliance mural program continues to grow, as Atlanta-based artist George F. Baker III started work on a new mural in downtown Panama City on March 29. His mural, “Keep Dancing,” is on the side of the Edward Jones Building, 470 Grace Ave., which faces the Bagel Maker. The wall will feature several colorful figures dancing with abandon to music from a record player.

Artist Begins Mural for Downtown ‘Welcome Wall’

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB)–Those entering Downtown Panama City will soon be welcomed by a wall full of murals known as the “Welcome Wall”. The mural is located on the side of the Ocean Oriental Market and will feature the work of 8 artists. The second mural artist is starting his painting this week.

Music Legend .38 Special will Rock Downtown Panama City on Saturday

Artists Team up for ‘Welcome Wall’ Mural in Downtown Panama City at Ocean Oriental Market

PANAMA CITY — The Bay Arts Alliance mural program continues to colorize downtown buildings, as the first of eight artists began work on the district’s “Welcome Wall” this week. Four as-yet-unnamed artists will collaborate with Christon Anderson, Heather Clements, Joyful Enriquez and Jayson Kretzer on this mural project, which is going on the side of Ocean Oriental Market facing the intersection of sixth Street and Harrison Avenue.

The House of Henrys First St. Patrick’s Day Celebration is Filled with Irish Traditions
