PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — History Class Brewery proved that beer, Christmas, and kids can all co-exist in a fun, family-friendly environment. On Sunday the brewery kicked off a weekly family-friendly series called, “Mrs. Claus Storytime.” But this wasn’t your normal storytime, this was a sing-a-long combined with stories and very important lessons.

PANAMA CITY — Fazoli’s Italian restaurant chain has announced that it will come to the Panama City area. According to a press release, Fazoli’s CEO Carl Howard announced the Lexington, Kentucky-based company, known for serving up Italian dishes at a great value, has executed an area development agreement with Bob Amin of Shiv 8 Panama City LLC to open three locations in Panama City. The first restaurant is slated to open in the third quarter of 2021, the release said.

The location will work together with the Toys for Kids Foundation to hold a toy drive, starting at 2:30 p.m. on November 21, which will benefit needy children in Bay County.

Amin has years of experience running franchise restaurants and is excited to add Tijuana Flats to his portfolio. “This is a great opportunity for me,” said Amin. “I’ve had my eye on Tijuana Flats for a long time and I was so pleased to hear they were returning to franchising and chose me as their first franchisee.”
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — Bay County leaders and residents will honor veterans with the annual Veterans Day Parade, starting at 9 a.m. and featuring a new route for this year. John Deegins, Director of Veterans Services, said the parade starts at 9 a.m., and the route will begin at the intersection of 12th Street and Beck Avenue in St. Andrews, then continue south before turning east onto 11th Street.
PANAMA CITY — The Light Room is currently showing the work of two artistic photographers for an exhibit that will run through the end of December. “Photographs by Andrew Wardlow and Mark Messerly” opened Nov. 6 at The Light Room, 306 Harrison Ave., Panama City, pairing two local photographers who enjoy working with challenging photographic processes uncommon in our digital world.

The festival will be held November 6-7, starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday and 3:15 p.m. Saturday across stages at the Center for the Arts, Millie’s and 131 Trigo.
