PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — Musicians from a variety of genres showcased their Christmas spirit and holiday cheer Monday morning at a holiday concert in Downtown Panama City. Musicians included Britt Reynolds, The Panama Symphony Orchestra and Will and Lindsey Thompson joining together for the event at Panama City’s City Hall.

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – It’s another step forward for Viking Cruises. Friday, Panama City Port Authority approved a letter of intent with the cruise line to open Panama City as a port of call. “Panama City would be the very first port in the call after leaving their homeport,” Panama City Port Authority Executive Director Wayne Stubbs said.
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG) – The St. Joe Company announced additional details Tuesday about a planned hotel development in downtown Panama City. St. Joe says Hotel Indigo will feature 124 guest rooms overlooking St. Andrews Bay. The Hotel Indigo brand is considered a boutique hotel, according to the company. This is part of the overall revitalization of the downtown Panama City area, including the marina.

The event will be Friday, December 11 and will begin at 6:30 p.m. It will be located in the parking lot of the Panama City Mall near the Sears building. PANAMA CITY — Fazoli’s Italian restaurant chain has announced that it will come to the Panama City area. According to a press release, Fazoli’s CEO Carl Howard announced the Lexington, Kentucky-based company, known for serving up Italian dishes at a great value, has executed an area development agreement with Bob Amin of Shiv 8 Panama City LLC to open three locations in Panama City. The first restaurant is slated to open in the third quarter of 2021, the release said.
