Los Rancheros Builds on 20-Year Legacy with Rebirth of Original Restaurant in Panama City

PANAMA CITY — The Barragans opened their first area Los Rancheros in 1999 on 23rd Street in Panama City, but the original location was destroyed during Hurricane Michael. After purchasing property just down the street, they built the newest restaurant from the ground up and reopened at the beginning of September.

Destination Panama City Visitors Center Groundbreaking

BAY COUNTY Fla (WMBB) — After Hurricane Michael destroyed the former Destination Panama City Visitors Center, they planned to rebuild, and plans moved forward Wednesday. The groundbreaking was held Wednesday as they held their groundbreaking on 101 West Beach Dr in Panama City, where the new building will be located. The team wanted to build something both locals and tourists can enjoy.

Taylor Wins Awards for Watercolor Paintings

Destination Panama City Approves Plans for a New Multi-Use Visitors Center

PANAMA CITY Fla. (WMBB) — The Destination Panama City board has officially approved a bid to start construction on a new multi-use visitors center. After their former property was destroyed during Hurricane Michael, the team wanted to build something that both locals and tourists could use. The waterfront property will be located on West Beach Drive and include rooms available to the public, activity space near the water and local artwork.
