Artistic Classes Showcase Creative Energy of Panama City, Florida

City offers array of events this summer

Panama City, FL – June 18, 2018 – This summer, Panama City, Florida is offering creative classes and workshops that highlight the creative energy of the progressive city. “Creativity is a common thread that connects people in Panama City,” says Destination Panama City President and CEO Jennifer Vigil. “The events happening this summer are ideal opportunities for visitors of all ages and interests to find inspiration in Panama City.”

Ukulele Social Club at the Bay County Public Library
First Saturday of the month
Learn the basics of ukulele playing and jam with other musicians at the Ukulele Social Club at the Bay County Public Library. Ukulele Social Club will meet the first Saturday of the month from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. in the Bay County Public Library Meeting Room. Bring your own Ukulele or borrow one from the library. Yoga at Oaks by the Bay Park
Every Saturday
Find your zen at this outdoor community yoga class held by One Heart Yoga. Every Saturday yogis of all levels are welcome to join the class at Oaks by the Bay Park from 9am – 10am. The class is for donation only. For more information, visit www.oneheartyogapc.com.

Beginning Dulcimer Class at Bay County Public Library
June 22, July 27, August 24
Learn the basics of playing the dulcimer at the Bay County Public Library this summer. Monthly classes will feature lessons for beginners and a jam session for all levels. Pottery Classes at Panama City Center for the Arts
Every Tuesday and Thursday starting July 10
Learn how to throw your own pottery this summer at Panama City Center for the Arts. This pottery class will include hand building, wheel throwing, pinch with glazing and firing processes. Beginning Photography Class at The Light Room
July 12 – August 9
A space for photographic education, exhibits and community, The Light Room offers five-week beginning photography classes for all ages. Fearless Drawing Class at Panama City Center for the Arts
Every Thursday starting July 12th

Intermediate Photography Class at The Light Room
Late Summer
Intermediate photographers can learn how to tackle the most common photographic challenges at The Light Room’s Intermediate Photography class.
