Caterwaul Regatta Bringing Internationally Recognized Talent to St. Andrews Bay

WHAT: Destination Panama City announces the 2017 Caterwaul Regatta. The
event, hosted at St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club, will feature a weekend of
exciting races. Competitors include former Olympians and Olympic
hopefuls.

Former Olympian Sally Bartow will compete at this year’s event. Bartow
represented the U.S.in the 2008 Beijing games, and most recently
competed in the 2014 – 2015 Volvo Ocean Race with Team SCA.

Also, Olympic hopeful and Panama City native Matthew Whitehead will
be competing in this year’s events. Whitehead will compete with the US
crew in Bermuda this summer in his second Youth America’s Cup. A
special fundraiser for the team will take place Friday night.

WHY: All are welcome. Registration is now open for racers.
