Destination Panama City Announces Board Vacancy for Non-Lodging Tourism Partner Seat
PANAMA CITY, Fla. — At its November 18, 2025 regular meeting, the Destination Panama City Board of Directors directed staff to draft amendments to the organization’s bylaws to include one County Commission representative and one non-lodging tourism partner seat. This action reflects the Board’s ongoing commitment to strengthening governance, enhancing transparency, and ensuring a diverse range of perspectives that support Panama City’s tourism economy and long-term community vitality.
As a result of this directive, Destination Panama City is now accepting applications to fill the non-lodging tourism partner vacancy on its Board of Directors. This seat is intended for a representative of a tourism-related business or organization that contributes to the visitor experience in Panama City but is not engaged in the ownership or operation of lodging accommodations.
Board members serve in a governance capacity and are responsible for providing strategic oversight, fiscal stewardship, and policy guidance in support of Destination Panama City’s mission. Board service is voluntary and includes regular meeting attendance, committee participation as needed, and adherence to ethical and fiduciary responsibilities.
