Dockside Events Entice Boat and Sea Lovers to Panama City for Father’s Day Weekend
PANAMA CITY, Fla., April 1, 2017 – Those contemplating ways to celebrate dad can surprise him with a visit to Panama City for an action-packed weekend June 16-18. Guests can enjoy The Florida Panhandle Boat Show, The Dock Jam Seafood and Music Festival and The Emerald Coast Professional Redfish Series from one location: Panama City Marina, overlooking the scenic St. Andrew Bay.

The Florida Panhandle Boat Show highlights new boats and marine accessories in and out of the water. Boating safety seminars, stand-up paddleboard demonstrations, hands-on sailing techniques will also be provided. Nearby, The Dock Jam Seafood and Music Festival features 10 bands, a waterfront tiki bar, food trucks, corn hole tournament, arts village featuring glass, jewelry, woodworking and other handcrafted items, as well as a kid-friendly area with pint-sized activities.
Hours for the boat show are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The seafood and music festival takes place from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10 per person, per day and include admission to the boat show and the seafood and music festival. Children 16 and under are free. Guests can also witness The Emerald Coast Professional Redfish Series weigh in on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
