St. Andrews Bay sparkles with holiday cheer during the 38th Annual Boat Parade of Lights

Panama City, FL – November 14, 2024 – Deck the hulls and prepare for an evening of maritime magic and Yuletide cheer as the Boat Parade of Lights returns to St. Andrews Bay on Saturday, December 14, 2024. For one night only, Panama City’s boating community dazzles with a floating procession of colored lights and enchanting decorations as spectators watch from the shoreline.

 

The parade will depart from St. Andrews Yacht Club at 5:30 p.m., and will travel westward past Historic Downtown Panama City, the Panama City Marina, West Beach Drive, the St. Andrews Marina, and Historic St. Andrews, before ending at the Hathaway Bridge at approximately 7:30 p.m. Waterfront restaurants and bars in Downtown and St. Andrews will offer additional opportunities for elevated viewing.

 

Following the parade, spectators can go online to vote for the boat with the best decorations. In all, three prizes will be awarded to the most creative captains. Interested captains can apply online at https://destinationpanamacity.com/annual-event/boat-parade-of-lights/.

 

The celebration continues at the Holiday Village at Panama City Marina, with vendors offering seasonal refreshments, gift shopping, and family-friendly activities. Festive music and a visit from Santa Claus will complete this winter wonderland.
