Play Music on the Porch Day

“What if for one day everything stopped…and we all just listened to the music?” Brian Mallman, founder of Play Music on the Porch Day.

This is a real event and it grows every single year. On the last Saturday in August, hundreds of cities around the world will be filled with the sounds of music.  Panama City is proud to be a part of the world community of music.

The streets of Historic St. Andrews and Downtown Panama City are coming alive this Saturday, August 29th! Play Music on the Porch Day is an international movement that occurs on the last Saturday in August annually, and our two historic districts are pleased to be participating for the second year in a row. With over 50 locations partaking, you can enjoy a variety of music from our talented local musicians.

Downtown Panama City will have live music from 11 am-2 pm, and St. Andrews will have live music from 3-6 pm, so there is plenty of time for you to experience both neighborhoods! Remember to tip the talent and support our bayside community.

We ask that attendees follow the CDC Recommended Social Distancing Guidelines, with face coverings and a 6ft distance from performers.
