Destination Panama City Launches Two New Historic Walking Tours on Otocast App, Expanding The Self-Guided Walking Tour Offerings

Panama City, FL: June 10, 2026 — Destination Panama City announced the launch of two new self-guided historic walking tours now available on the free Otocast app: the Historic St. Andrews Walking Tour and the Downtown Panama City Walking Tour. The additions join the previously launched Glenwood Historic Marker Trail, bringing the organization’s total self-guided historic trail offerings to three and giving visitors a richer, more immersive way to explore Panama City’s past.

The new tours invite visitors and locals alike to discover the stories, architecture, and cultural landmarks that shaped two of Panama City’s most beloved historic districts. Each are available at no cost and navigable entirely at the user’s own pace.

Historic St. Andrews Walking Tour guides explorers through the charming waterfront community of St. Andrews, where the natural environment, historic architecture, and the stories of the people who have called this district home come to life through audio narration and curated points of interest.

Downtown Panama City Walking Tour takes visitors through the heart of Historic Downtown, highlighting iconic landmarks, unique architecture, and the rich layered history of Panama City’s founding and growth along the bay.

Together with the Glenwood Historic Marker Trail, these three tours form a connected tapestry of Panama City’s past, from its earliest days as a bayfront settlement to the vibrant, culturally rich community it is today.

All three tours are accessible through the free Otocast app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. For more information and to plan your visit, explore all three historic walking tours at destinationpanamacity.com/historic-walking-tours/.
