Panama City, FL – August 29, 2023 – Destination Panama City, the destination marketing organization dedicated to promoting the vibrant culture and attractions of Panama City, is excited to announce the launch of a new volunteer recruitment campaign aimed at expanding its volunteer base for the Visitor’s Center and upcoming special events.

Volunteers play a vital role in shaping the welcoming atmosphere and exceptional visitor experience that Panama City is known for. The Visitor’s Center, serving as the official information center for travelers, seeks enthusiastic individuals to join as volunteers during its operating hours. These hours include Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Volunteers at the Visitor’s Center will have the opportunity to provide helpful information, offer recommendations, and create a lasting positive impression on visitors from around the world.

Additionally, Destination Panama City is actively recruiting volunteers to contribute to the success of its signature special events, such as the celebrated “July 4th Salute to Freedom” and the lively “Oktoberfest.” These events serve as a platform to showcase the rich cultural heritage, creativity, and hospitality of Panama City. Volunteer hours for these special events may vary, offering flexibility to accommodate diverse schedules.
